Huck is our slim, trim handsome working black Labrador. He is perhaps the most affectionate dogs I’ve ever known but yet is no nonsense when it comes time to get down to the business of retrieving. Unlike Becky, Huck takes the job of retrieving very seriously and has a hard time tolerating her playfulness while we’re doing ‘business.’
Huck comes from a long line of field champions and the quality of his pedigree really shows. Although we currently don’t hunt with him, we are planning to exercise his abilities more with additional gun dog training and perhaps some competition.
