Question: What can you tell me about Labrador Retrievers?
Answer: From our perspective, Labradors are perhaps the most lovable family pets imaginable as well as the most devoted and hard working retrievers in existence. One of the best descriptions of the breed can be found in the Breed Standard as stated on the Labrador Retrievers Club Website.
Question: I don’t hunt. Is a Labrador Retriever still a good choice for me?
Answer: If you are willing to take time with your dog, be his best friend, walk with him, throw a tennis ball or a frisbee for him, you will find that you and your Lab will do just splendidly! They truly are magnificent family dogs.
Question: How much do your puppies cost?
Answer: The cost of the puppies varies from litter to litter. Generally, pups range in price from $750 to $1000. Our puppies come with a written guarantee and come from very strong backgrounds. We invest quite a bit in our dogs in terms of time and money to have the best chance at breeding healthy, sound pups.
Question: Where do you raise your puppies?
Answer: The puppies will be raised in our home full-time. After 5 weeks they will spend increasing amounts of time outdoors in a puppy play area, where they have room to explore, play and begin their housebreaking behavior. Specifically, the pups are whelped in our bedroom, where we can be on hand to support and assist mom. Our dogs share our home with us, and are treated as part of the family.
Question: Would you be able to help me pick out the right pup for me?
Answer: Yes! We will need to know all about you, your plans for pup, and what you are looking for in a pup. You are also welcome to visit us, by appointment only, most any time throughout the pregnancy, whelping, and raising of the pups.
Question: Will you take the dog back at any time in its life if for some reason we can’t keep her?
Answer: Yes, in fact we insist that you give us first chance at re-accommodation. If we can’t take the dog back for any reason we will assist you with placement.
Questions: Can I call you with questions or problems I may have with the dog once I take her home?
Answer: Yes. If we don’t have the answer we’ll do our best to help you find it!
Question: We are not in New Hampshire. Do you ship puppies?
Answer: Yes. We ship via major air carriers. Cost is around $250, plus the cost of a puppy crate.
